Is PEMF safe?

PEMF is a very safe modality. It’s only downside is that electronics can be harmed by it. This means during the session you will want to keep any electronics at least three feet from it. This also means if you have any electronic in or on your body, you will not be permitted to use PEMF. Examples include Pacemakers and diabetes pumps.

One precaution is if you have any coiled metal implants in your body. At times these can warm up and be painful. This does not usually happen and is not typically life threatening. If you have any metal stents, then we would not recommend PEMF for you.
